Life has a way of getting in the way of healthy eating. I was feeling a little meh with all the junk I’d been eating this week. My average weekday breakfast consists of coffee, a Clif bar, and two hash browns. Not the most ideal.
This weekend, I decided to have something healthy for a change. And my fruits were about to go bad. What is a smoothie but a blend of everything you have in your fridge, anyway?
This best thing about smoothies is that the recipe has one step. One step. There’s nothing better than a recipe which feeds out and has one step.
For lack of a better name, I present to you a Mango-Strawberry-Watermelon Smoothie.
Makes: Two hipstery mason jars
Ingredients
1 cup chopped mango
1 cup halved strawberries
1 cup chopped seedless watermelon
2 tbsp yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
Ice, ice baby.
Process
Dump all the ingredients into a blender. Blend till smooth. Chill and serve.
